Congratulations to FABW Manchester 10k fundraisers
Almost £2,800 has so far been raised by Find A Better Way runners in the Manchester 10k.
Charity staff, research scientists and Find A Better Way supporters joined thousands of runners in Britain’s most popular 10k race.
They were sent on their way by Sir Bobby Charlton, Find A Better Way’s founder, who spoke to each member of the 19-strong team before the start of the race.
All 19 made it to the finishing line despite running in searing heat.
Top fundraisers for Find A Better Way were Chris Wright and Ryan Craven of accountants Mazars, while Frank Podd of Manchester University was the first FABW runner home in a very impressive 41 minutes and 22 seconds.
The FABW runners also included nine representatives from the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Manchester University, a FABW research partner. FABW office staff, Jenny Atkinson and Laura Entwistle also took part.
