Henry Smith MP Visits The Sir Bobby Charlton Rehabilitation Centre In Amman
Henry Smith MP visited the Sir Bobby Charlton Rehabilitation Centre in Amman in September to gather evidence for the International Development Committee.
On Tuesday 8th October the Committee invited the Minister Andrew Murrison MP to answer questions on the Department for International Development’s work on Yemen, Syria and the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
Henry asked the Minister about DFID’s support for smaller and local charities and recounted his visit to the centre as an example of excellent practice. Take a look at the video (reference to the centre is at 14 minutes, 49 seconds).
