Safeguarding
The Sir Bobby Charlton Foundation believes everyone has a right to protection from violence, exploitation, abuse, and discrimination. We are committed to ensuring that the people we serve are kept safe, and that our staff and partners never exploit the position of trust in which they have been placed.
We have a zero tolerance policy towards sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) by any Sir Bobby Charlton Foundation staff members and associated personnel.
The Sir Bobby Charlton Foundation affirms its commitment to the UN Secretary General’s Bulletin on Special Measures for protection from sexual exploitation and sexual abuse (ST/ SGB/2003/13) and recognises the rights of all beneficiaries to be protected from sexual exploitation and abuse.
This policy applies to all persons working for us or on our behalf in any capacity, including employees at all levels, directors, officers, agency workers, seconded workers, volunteers, interns, agents, contractors, external consultants, third-party representatives and partners.
This policy is applicable worldwide and is relevant at all times.
