Tribute to Sir Bobby Charlton at Euro2024 qualifier

The Football Association will pay tribute to Sir Bobby Charlton at the Euro2024 qualifier against Malta at Wembley Stadium on Friday 17^th November. In their tributes to England’s finest player, The FA said, “For us and for so many people around the world, it is not an exaggeration to say that alongside his exceptional skills as a footballer, Sir Bobby Charlton drew unrivalled affection and respect as a proud ambassador of the game, quietly modest and humble about his incredible prowess on the pitch. Sir Bobby epitomised all that is good in the game, he made it beautiful. The memory of him, his humility, his achievements and his pure love for football are etched forever on the memories of our nation and across the world”.
